Summer fun with Scrap Booking with Sheila Rae

MAKE BREAD IN A BAG

with Your Kids!

1 Gallon Ziplock

2 cups Bread Flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoon sugar

2 teaspoons yeast

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Place all ingredients in a Ziplock. Seal making sure to remove all the air. Have the kids play with the bag to ensure all ingredients are well mixed.

Add 2/3 cup warm water (bath water warm for all of us mothers- if it is too warm to bath our little ones in it is to warm to add to yeast). Seal making sure to remove all the air. Have the children massage the bag well. It will take 5-10 minutes. The longer you can keep them active in the process the better. Let rest on the counter for 30 minutes. Remove from bag and roll out on NON-Stick Surface or use flour if you need too, roll thin. Spread with olive oil and a little Kosher Salt. Heat gas grill to very hot about 10 minutes. Lay pieces on grill, making sure the pieces are not too large for you to handle. Turn with tongs, about 2 minutes on each side.
